Gathering together with their closest gal pals, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale kicked off the weekend with a girls-only get together in Los Angeles, CA on Friday night (August 26).
The former "High School Musical" hotties both looked darling as they joined four female friends at the dinner table for some delicious cuisine and cocktails - with the sitdown meal surely laden with plenty of gossip.

In the hilarious clip, Robert California, played by James Spader, makes his return to the Dunder-Mifflin office.
Paul Lieberstein, one of the series' executive producers and a series regular told press, "James will reprise his role as Robert California, this uber-salesman that has a power to convince and manipulate, like a high-class weirdo Jedi warrior,. He'll have been hired over the summer as the new manager, but within hours, got himself promoted. Within days, he took over the company. James has an energy that is completely his own, and 'The Office' has no tools for dealing with this guy. We're thrilled he's joining our cast."

As police continue investigating the death of Michael Showers, new details have emerged.
Earlier this week, the "Treme" actor's body was found floating in the Mississippi River and according to the Orleans Parish coroner's office, Showers died from drowning.
It was also revealed that the 45-year-old was battling depression and anxiety and had been diagnosed in March with multiple sclerosis, the Time-Picayune reported.
There were no signs of trauma to his body, and authorities are awaiting results for toxicology tests for drugs and alcohol, said John Gagliano, the coroner's office chief investigator. |

According to TMZ sources, the Coroner's office called the meeting because Taylor was at the scene of Russell's suicide when his body was discovered nearly two weeks ago.

Nearly 40 year's after its TV-movie debut, the revamped tale offers up Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce and Bailee Madison as its starring cast.
Directed by Troy Nixey, the horror/thriller tells the tale of "a young girl who is sent to live with her father and his new girlfriend, only to discover creatures in her new home who want to claim her as one of their own."
