After three years of dating, actress Minka Kelly and New York Yankee Derek Jeter have gone their separate ways.
A source, as well as their respective reps, confirmed the split to Just Jared. According to the source, there are no hard feelings and the split was “amicable.”
Each party has had quite the busy summer, so the break-up isn’t a total shocker.
DJ reached the impressive milestone of 3,000 hits (it was a homer, no less!), while Minka has been filming her new ABC show Charlie’s Angels in Miami.
There had been many rumors the two getting married through their relationship, so we’re sure men everywhere will be relieved to learn this knockout is once again single.

Here at Celebuzz, we like to see stars doing good and standing up for what they believe in. Emily just signed up to be a spokesperson for Farm Sanctuary’s “Walk For Farm Animals,” which stresses compassion towards farm animals involved in animal cruelty.
The organization brings to attention animals such as pigs, cows, chickens have feelings and personalities just like our pet dogs and cats, yet they are not treated with the same respect. When being used for meat, the animals are treated as if they are inanimate objects whose well-being isn’t valued.
The Farm Sanctuary share their knowledge on behalf of animal cruelty and hold organizational, fun filled “walks” which brings thousands of people together to join in on the cause. These walks are held all over cities in the United States and Canada, and welcome any and everyone to join and get in on the cause. Maybe we’ll be seeing Emily there someday?!

One year after his infamous kiss with then-wife Lisa Marie Presley, Michael Jackson kicked off the VMAs in a much more — how do we put this lightly? — digestible way: by performing an epic, 10-minute-plus medley of his songs. The performance, which included everything from “Billie Jean” to “Black or White,” also featured a surprise performance from Guns N’ Roses guitarist, Slash, marking one of the best moments of the late Jackson’s career.
Puff Daddy feat. Faith Evans, Sting, Mase and 112, 1997
Following the tragic shooting of Notorious B.I.G., Diddy, then known as Puff Daddy, took to the VMA stage to pay tribute to the late rapper with a touching rendition of his single, “I’ll Be Missing You.” Joined by Faith Evans, Sting, Mase and 112, Puffy brought the audience together to celebrate Biggie’s career and to remind everyone of the void that had been left by his death. To this day, we’re still missing him.
Bruce Springsteen, 2002
As our nation mourned the tragic attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Bruce Springsteen took to the stage in 2002 to perform his 9/11-inspired song, “The Rising.” It was a rare touching moment for the VMAs, and went a long way in helping viewers to recover from that devastating day.

Madonna has always been a controversial figure at the VMAs; lest we forget her infamous performance of “Like a Virgin” at the inaugural show in 1984. But 19 years later, the Material Girl still managed to shock everyone when she locked lips with her fellow performers, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, during the show’s opening act. The kiss landed Madonna on the cover of practically every newspaper, and quickly became one of the defining moments in VMA history.

In what may go down as the most bizarre VMA performance of all time, Britney barely sang and danced her way through her hit single, “Gimme More,” in 2007. Dressed in an unflattering bra, underwear and boots, the “Toxic” singer had everyone scratching their heads in disbelief as her much-hyped comeback came to a screeching halt. Luckily, Brit had a quick turnout; one year later, she took home the award for Video of the Year, for “Piece of Me.” But even that wasn’t enough to shake her “Gimme More” performance, which to this day lives on in VMA infamy.

Driving is just not always as easy as it may seem. Former High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens was pulled over yesterday (Aug. 24) and given a citation.
What the ticket was for exactly is still unknown, but this wouldn’t be the first time the 22-year-old actress has received a ticket.
Back in July, Hudgens also received a ticket. After leaving a Yoga class with a friend, she noticed it on the windshield of her Audi.
Not all is bad for the young star though. She recently just wrapped her latest movie Gimmie Shelter, where she plays a homeless pregnant teen turned away by her wall street father because of her decision to have her baby. The movie is due for a 2012 release.
She’s not just an international country pop star, Taylor Swift knows how to have fun too. The 21-year-old country crooner shared some photos on her blog set on the beaches of Charleston, South Carolina goofing off with some gal pals.
In the post, the “Sparks Fly” singer wrote about the fact that since she was eight, she always compiled lists of long term goals, saying to her fans:
“Thanks to you all and your wonderful niceness, I’ve gotten to see most of the places on my list on tour.”
She wrote of this latest trip:
“I found a three day window in August and invited all the girls you see onstage (one fiddle player, one backup singer, two dancers, three aerialists) to go with me to one of the places on my list (this particular place was underlined, with stars drawn next to it, indicating that I reeeeally wanted to go there): Charleston, South Carolina.”

Although Jersey Shore babe Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley has openly admitted to having plastic surgery in the past, some are saying she’s secretly gone under the knife once again.
Viewers have noted that her ample lips look a little more plump than usual, and her skin seems high and tight.
“People are saying I got cheek implants, my chin shaved down and a nose job,” she tells In Touch, denying she’s had any more work.
“I lost 15 pounds and my cheeks have become more defined. I highlight my cheeks instead of putting bronzer on them,” she added. “‘I’ll probably get Botox by the time I’m 30 and have my breast implants redone in a few years after I’ve had kids.”
Celebuzz talked to celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher — who has not treated the reality star — for his expert opinion on the matter. Does he think her appearance has been altered by a professional? We sent him a series of photos and asked him to tell give us his thoughts.
“I have reviewed the photos of her … and do not believe she has had any plastic surgical intervention,” he says.

Looks like newlywed Kim Kardashian will be back from her honeymoon by Sunday — just in time to attend the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. E!’s own Marc Malkin just tweeted this photo from inside the Nokia Theatre with the caption: “Look who I’m sitting with at @MTV VMA..Kim Kardashian and Taylor Lautner! lololololol.” We might have a double take on Sunday evening if the reality star brings her new husband, Kris Humphries. Back in July, Kim joked about Kris being Taylor‘s doppelganger:

In the film, out on Friday, Paul Rudd plays the role of a bumbling brother who skates through life and manages to make the lives of his family members a living hell (but manages to stay lovable in the process).
According to the New York Post things are getting serious between Alec Baldwin, 53, and his girlfriend Hilaria Thomas, 27. Supposedly Alec sold his apartment to move in with his yoga instructor girlfriend.
Alec had a softball game over the weekend in East Hampton Long Island and you can see Hilaria supposedly wearing a promise ring on her left ring finger.

Did rapper Pittbull diss Lindsay Lohan (also, do people still say “diss”)?
LiLo sued the rapper for using her name in his song “Give Me Everything.” She claims the lyrics, “Hustlers move aside, so I'm tiptoein', to keep flowin' / I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan,” are “offensive and disparaging” — but the man behind the music says his words are getting twisted!
“When I say ‘I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan,’ I’m saying she runs her world and I run mine,” he says in an exclusive interview with Univision’s Pamela Silva Conde.
“However she moves, whatever she does, people talk about it in one way or another,” he adds. “To me it was more uplifting. I don’t want to bring [negativity] on anybody.”
Not only does he say that he supports the actress, but he actually goes on to invite her to join him at the MTV Video Music Awards. He’ll be performing the song during the broadcast.

Happy Jersday! Whether he was on babysitting duty is still in question, but Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino just became that much cooler with the kids. This video has been making the rounds of the reality us showing off some sweet dance moves to Foster The People‘s hit “Pumped Up Kicks”.
The video starts off with Vinny sitting down in complete silence before getting up to turn on the stereo. From there, we have adorable guest stars that pop up out of nowhere handing Vinny sneakers as he dances away. No other Shore stars made cameos in the viral video, but we can all appreciate the rehearsed routine from the “V” of “MVP”.It eventually ends with them all hitting the floor as the song ends.

Birthday girl Blake Lively took a quick break from filming Gossip Girl yesterday to send a few texts on her iPhone.
The TV and movie star, who turns 24 today, was mostly covered up by a full-length robe, though cameras did also catch her wearing a very Serena-esque white tank and silver skirt.
Was Blake texting her rumored beau, Leonardo DiCaprio? We’ll never know.
Demi Lovato brought the house down during the America’s Got Talent semi-finals result show Wednesday evening. The singer, who completed a stint in rehab earlier this year, sang her new hit single “Skyscraper” as the crowd roared with applause and cheers.
Giving a powerhouse performance, the 19-year-old appears to be back — and better than ever! On stage, she wore a long black dress, cropped jacket and tons of jewelery. Watch the video above to see her performance.
Of course, this isn’t her first comeback performance. Earlier this month, she performed at the Do Something Awards. Demi admits she wouldn’t be where she is today, if it weren’t for her loyal fans.
The former Disney star chatted with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM morning show, saying:
"These shows are basically thanking my fans for being so supportive throughout this entire journey. … This is the first time that I will be on stage in about a year."
Demi announced that she’s going back on tour — first starting with two dates at The Hammerstein Ballroom on 9/17 and at Club Nokia on 9/23. Her highly-anticipated album will be released on Sept. 20 and feature collaborations with Missy Elliott, Timbaland and breakout star Jason Derulo.
Fresh off of a never-to-be-forgotten weekend, Kendall Jenner dropped by Access Hollywood on Thursday to talk about everything Kardashian … except one topic she couldn’t really expound upon.
Appearing in her cheerleading gear, Kendall sported a big smile and did her best to dodge wedding questions from hosts Kat Hoover and Arsenio Hall — as much of the information is being held for other media outlets. Still, she deflected like a pro, saying about it: “I had a great time … and I’d love to talk to you about it, but I’m kind of here to talk about the Varsity National School Spirit Day.”
Despite being peppered with questions, Kendall kept her answers short and simple, not giving too much wedding info.
When the topic shifted to Kendall’s cheerleading outfit, she explained:
“Varsity’s National School Spirit day is … to bring recognition to cheerleaders who do community service … and I actually volunteered myself for Meals on Wheels … I had a really great time doing it. It was really a life-changing experience for me.”
When asked about the infamous show moment where she got into a fight with Kim about runway modeling, Kendall replied: “I’m just scared. I get nervous and feel like I’m going to fall or something.”
Kendall encouraged everyone to visit NationalSchoolSpiritDay.org — and even busted out a cheer for the hosts.

A friend of the Smith family is coming to their defense after rumors started swirling that Willand Jada Pinkett-Smith were on the outs. Justin Bieber– friend toWillowand Jaden Smith– posted a sweet tweet on Wednesday, writing:
“Will and Jada are one of the best couples ever. #FACT#real“
The 17-year-old singer’s message comes after Will and Jada responded to the reports themselves.
Will’s publicist told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday: “Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact."

Our favorite celebs are growing up so fast! Today (Aug 25), Rachel Bilson celebrates her 30th birthday! It seems like just yesterday that the sexy brunette first got our attention when she was cast as Summer Roberts in CW’s The O.C.
Even after the sun set on the hit teen drama, Bilson proved too big for the small screen, making her film debut in the 2006 film The Last Kiss. Ashton Kutcherwas taking precaution when he showed up to chat with David Letterman Wednesday night following the Late Show host receiving terrorist death threats.
The new Two and a Half Men star made light of the situation by coming out wearing a protective vest that read “Not Dave” and a helmet. “I gotta watch it man, you can’t be too careful sitting next to a guy being fatwa-ed,” Kutcher joked.
The Punk’d star was on Letterman to chat about his new role on Two and a Half after replacing Charlie Sheen. He’s set to play Walden Schmidt, a young billionaire computer entrepreneur, but played coy when asked how they killed Sheen’s character off.
“I really like this job, this is an amazing show! It’s the same show … maybe the dynamics have shifted a little.”

She’s played a princess before, so it would make sense that Anne Hathaway is interested in playing royal beauty Kate Middleton in a movie.
The Oscar-nominated actress made the big reveal this week at the UK premiere her new movie, ‘One Day,’ telling The Sun, “I haven’t really thought about it before but yes, why not. She’s great. It’s such a fairytale.”
Whether or not it will actually happen remains to be seen. But Hathaway, who got her big break in the 2001 Disney flick The Princess Diaries, is used to having her fair share of high-profile roles. The 28-year-old is currently filming Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, in which she takes on the iconic role of Catwoman.
